With over 40 active construction projects in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, our team understands that projects cannot be completed by a single person or a single company; only by working together do we get the best results.

As Kinetic’s President and CEO, Tom has over 36 years of experience in the construction industry, where he has worked as a Carpenter, Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, and Branch Manager. After receiving his diploma in Construction Technology from BCIT in 1986, Tom went onto the sites to gain the field experience he felt was essential for leadership in construction.
Tom joined Kinetic in 1999, where he brought his extensive knowledge and strong work ethic to a wide variety of commercial, institutional, civil, and industrial projects. In his role as President and CEO, he focuses on People, culture, and continuous improvement utilizing LEAN methodology and problem-solving. Tom’s (and Kinetic’s) vision is to help make the industry better for everyone involved by evolving our standards, practices, and mindsets.

Mike began his career with Kinetic in 1999, after receiving his Building Engineering Technology diploma (Economics Option, with a First Class standing) from BCIT. Starting as an estimator and project coordinator, Mike demonstrated an aptitude for all aspects of the construction industry including estimating, constructability reviews, budgeting, and project management. This experience led him to the opportunity to start Kinetic’s Vancouver Branch in 2009, leading as Branch Manager, where the Team has grown to establish a strong reputation for delivering an exceptional project experience for all involved.
Mike is now a co-owner of the company and was recently appointed as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he is actively involved in all Kinetic’s projects, ensuring each project receives optimal resources and is delivered to the utmost satisfaction.
Fallon Lindsay

As Kinetic’s Director of Finance and Administration, Fallon brings over a decade of experience working in senior financial management roles. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Victoria in 2010, which she enhanced by becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2015, and a Certified Professional in Human Resources in 2016. Joining Kinetic in 2019, Fallon’s work experience includes a diverse range of industries including construction, property management, commercial real estate, and health services retail.
At Kinetic, Fallon is responsible for overseeing all of Kinetic’s finance, accounting, talent and development, IT operations, and strategy execution. She also mentors CPA candidates through the CPA BC mentorship program and is actively involved in the volunteer community as a Director on the Our Place Society Board, HeroWork, and Chamber of Commerce.

As Director of Strategic Projects, Andris brings more than 45 years of construction industry experience to the Kinetic team. After obtaining his civil engineering degree from UBC in 1977, Andris’s career has involved working for design consultants, owners/developers, and general contractors, which allows him to bring a unique perspective to every construction project. Andris joined Kinetic in 2020 and is responsible for a number of project areas, especially alternative project delivery projects.
Some of Andris’ notable past projects include the SFU Sustainable Energy Engineering Building, the RCMP E Division Headquarters and Phase 1 of the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.
Cheryl Schindler

Joining Kinetic in 2021, Cheryl brings more than 25 years of management experience in the professional services industry. With a marketing diploma from UBC’s Sauder School of Business, she has developed sales and marketing strategies for architectural, engineering, interior design, and construction industry clients around the world.
Cheryl is a marketing and proposal expert. With a track record totalling over $20 billion in construction value, she has worked on large-scale proposal submissions including Public-Private Partnerships, Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery, and Construction Management delivery models, to name a few. She has been recognized by her industry peers through an award and publications. Cheryl is also a writer, a mentor with the Big Sisters program, and an active volunteer for charities throughout Metro Vancouver.

Jeriel joined Kinetic in 2022, bringing more than 26 years of construction experience to the team. After graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) with diplomas in both Engineering Design and Drafting Technology and Civil Engineering in 1996, Jeriel has collaborated with diverse and multidisciplinary teams on a wide array of infrastructure, residential, and educational projects.
As the Victoria Branch Manager, Jeriel uses his experience on complex, high-security projects to lead Kinetic’s project teams, including monitoring of project schedules and costs. Some of his past projects include the Willow Square Continuing Care Centre, Nanaimo Fire Hall No. 1, and the Coaldale Protective Services Building.

With 30 years’ experience, Bruce brings exceptional technical expertise and industry experience to his role as Kinetic’s Branch Manager (Vancouver). After receiving his Civil and Structural Technology Diploma from BCIT, Bruce worked on several post-secondary, retail, and commercial office projects throughout Metro Vancouver, rising from Project Coordinator to Project Manager.
Bruce joined Kinetic in 2016, where he has provided senior leadership for project delivery along with the implementation of health and safety and sustainability best practices. In his role as Branch Manager, Bruce provides leadership and guidance for the overall activities of the Branch, as well as the achievement of corporate initiatives. Some of his notable past projects include the Shaw Tower in Vancouver, the University of British Columbia’s Buchanan Tower Phases 1 through 6 and Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Cloverdale Trades and Technology campus.

Joining Kinetic in 2015, Nick brings 15 years’ experience working as a project manager in the construction industry. With diplomas in Civil Engineering Technology and Civil Engineering Bridge, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from UBC Okanagan, Nick has worked on a wide variety of construction projects throughout British Columbia, including infrastructure, residential, wastewater treatment, and retail venues.
In his current role as the Branch Manager for Kinetic’s Courtenay office, Nick focuses on assembling collaborative teams that are able to exceed client expectations. His most recent past works include the Port Hardy Airport Terminal Building, Cortes Island Seniors Housing and a significant number of projects at CFB Comox.

With 29 years of industry experience, John serves as Kinetic’s Project Director. After obtaining his Certificate in Construction from Limerick Regional Technical School in 1993 and his Bachelor of Science in Building Management from Herriot-Watt University in 1995, John embarked on work with a variety of building types including institutional, educational, residential, and healthcare. John joined Kinetic in 2008 as a Project Manager, bringing his strong interpersonal skills and sense of humour to every job.
Highlights of John’s project experience include the Sidney Community Safety Building, Phase II of the Hillside Centre Redevelopment project, the Camosun College Centre for Excellence in Trades Training, and Defence Construction Canada’s Fleet Maintenance Facility Shop Consolidation Cape Breton Phase V.

Mark joined Kinetic in 2003 and brings over 30 years’ experience as an estimator and project manager to the team. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria in 1991, Mark worked on a vast array of project types that provided him with an excellent comprehension of building drawings. He is adept at writing detailed plans for every construction phase in the building process, ensuring each process is thoroughly documented with the correct standards and specifications.
In his capacity as Chief Estimator, Mark provides guidance and leadership to Kinetic’s overall estimating department while remaining a hands-on estimator on key projects. Some of his most notable past projects include the Camosun College Centre for Trades Education and Innovation, the Sidney Community Service Building, Port Hardy Airport Terminal Building Replacement, and the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre Emergency Department Expansion.

Joining Kinetic in 2021, Annie brings 19 years of preconstruction and construction experience to the Kinetic team, specifically in preparing accurate take-offs, estimates, and budgets for institutional, industrial, commercial, and civil infrastructure projects. As a professional quantity surveyor, Annie brings an awareness of value-for-money and actual construction knowledge to every project.
Since moving to Canada from South Africa, Annie continues to expand her expertise in project budgeting and cost analysis, budget control, and Target Value Delivery principles in the construction market. This experience includes her work on seismic upgrades, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects in the Lower Mainland.

Jay brings 6 years of construction experience and 10 years of management experience to the Kinetic team. He received his diploma in Architecture and Building Technology from BCIT in 2016 and has played an integral part on a wide variety of different contract types and values for Kinetic. In his role as Pre-Construction Manager, Jay collaborates with project managers and teams in pricing projects and ensuring that clients receive the best value.
During his time with Kinetic, Jay has worked in the pre-construction and construction phases of several key commercial and residential projects. These projects include Esquimalt Public Safety Building, LRCA Affordable Housing, Cowichan Hospice House, and Squamish Fire Hall No. 1 and Emergency Operations Centre.

Nicole joined Kinetic in 2013 and has over a decade of experience in administrative and HR roles. She has a certificate in Small Business Human Resources and is pursuing a Human Resources Management Certificate at SFU. Her expertise spans across a wide range of departments including Human Resources, Government Security, Business Development and administration of Health and Safety. In her current role as Talent Manager, Nicole oversees job design, labour relations, total rewards, organizational work, and HR planning. She also works with stakeholders to develop and implement collective agreements and develops and manages Kinetic’s HRM policies.

Sharlot joined the Kinetic team in April of 2021 and brings over a decade of experience to her role as Training and Development Manager. She is a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) and has studied Ethics and Professional Conduct and Career Development Theories with the BC Career Development Association. In her role as Training and Development Manager, Sharlot supports continuous improvement through the ongoing construction and implementation of KCL Academy. KCL Academy provides comprehensive skills assessment and training for all positions within Kinetic.

As Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, Cori brings more than 10 years’ experience to the Kinetic team. Born and raised in Victoria, she is a National Construction Safety Officer and Construction Safety Specialist, and has won awards including BCCA’s Construction Leadership Award (2020) and Safety Leadership Award (2021), along with VICA’s Education Leadership Award (2021). Cori excels at supporting workers through mentorship and training, evaluating and monitoring on-site health and safety hazards, and in developing strategies to document and control workplace risks.
As an HSE Manager, Cori has worked on a number of public, institutional, and industrial projects across BC and Alberta. These include civil works, major industrial buildings, multi-family and social housing, heritage building renewals, building additions and upgrades, and building envelope repairs. Since 2016, she has also served as a member of the BC Construction Safety Alliance’s Prime Contractor Technical Advisory Committee (PCTAC).

Micah brings nearly 50 years of industry experience to his role as Kinetic’s Field Operations Manager. Joining Kinetic in 2016, he is a Journeyman Carpenter and has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in business management and minor in earth sciences from Arizona State University. Micah started his career in trades-based training, and has evolved into supervisory roles on projects serving a wide range of areas, including healthcare and education. His organizational and people skills make him an accomplished leader who can work with multiple stakeholders on any project.
Some of his past work includes the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre Emergency Room Expansion, capital upgrades to UBC’s Buchanan Tower, and seismic upgrades to multiple schools in Metro Vancouver.
