    Kinetic Environmental Ltd. has an opportunity on our Calgary sites for an Abatement Foreperson to be the point of contact between the construction workers and supervisors. A few of the main duties of a foreman are coordinating tasks for the day, creating schedules for workers, and overseeing the quality of the site. They also must report the progress of the project to superiors (QA/QC).

    The wage band for this position is $35.00-$39.00 an hour and based on relevant skills and experience.

    Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Vancouver Branch for a Senior Project Manager to provide support to both the Branch Manager/Project Director and Chief Estimator in bid tender preparation and project management. To plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budget. To plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules.

    The salary range for this position is $146,059- $182,575 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

    Position Specifications

    • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
    • 10+ years’ experience in ICI Construction, or related field
    • Experience delivering Institutional or Commercial Projects in excess of $100M
    • Experience executing projects using a variety of delivery methods including: Design Build, GMP, Construction Management.
    • Experience managing Pre-Construction processes from Schematic Design and Design Development through execution of Construction
    • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and required standards
    • Basic understanding of construction sequences
    • Effective with Microsoft Office and Procore
    • Ability to establish strong working relationships with subtrades and clients
    • Proven track record mentoring and managing large teams

Demonstrating Lean methodology and practices daily. Fostering an attitude of gratitude with all personnel. This position will promote Kinetic within the industry for the purposes of business development and recruitment.

    The wage band for this position is $170,000 - $212,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

    Position Specifications

    • Certificate, diploma or degree in Construction or related field
    • 10+ years experience in ICI construction as “The Project Site Superintendent”.
    • Gold Seal Certification is an asset.
    • Projects portfolio of $100 million plus to completion.
    • Strong ability and proven experience in leading a site crew of various sizes
    • Strong communicator, relationship builder and business acumen
    • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
    • Extensive history of working on a site until project completion and success
    • Proven track record of employee retention and mentoring
    • Proficient in collaborative leadership skills
    • Focused on achieving objectives and receptive to learning and growth opportunities
